Beauty For Real I-LINE 24-7 Eyeliner in Black Magic
I was relieved to see this in my glam bag this month. I was starting to get desperate about needing a new eyeliner (I'm still looking for a good gel pot liner, any suggestions?). When I swatched it, I thought it was okay. Nothing special. But then I used it on my eyes.
WHOA.
This just might be my new favorite eyeliner. Like most people, I've been using felt tip liners, but this eyeliner just might get me to switch back. I have never used such a smooth, pigmented eyeliner before. I didn't even feel myself apply it. The pointed tip makes it perfect for winging it out. I used this liner in a glitter eye look, and when I went to touch up my eyeliner, it worked even OVER the glitter. It didn't give me a hard time at all.
To say I was impressed is an understatement. I've never even heard of this brand before! BUT I'M TELLING YOU THIS EYELINER IS AMAZING. It's also waterproof, so boys, take. Me. Swimming. Paraben-free, cruelty-free, and made in the great U.S. of A, I just need to buy three. Which, you can do!
But I do have one bone to pick. I am known for doing thick, giant winged liner. And I mess up when I do my liner sometimes, like everyone else. So I went to twist up my pencil only for nothing to happen. I thought I just couldn't figure out how to twist it up (it's happened before!). But then I look at the package and it says there is 0.01 oz of product. Well, looks like it wasn't me, it was the eyeliner. Now I don't know if all their eyeliners are like this, or if it's just because it is a product through ipsy, but either way that's unacceptable. Even if it's a sample, I only get one use, without room for error. And if that's how much comes in all of their eyeliners, then they are ripping people off. It's a great formula, but it's not worth it.
