Ciaté London Paint Pot in Dangerous Affair
You know I hate getting nail polishes in my glam bag, (I still don't understand HOW since I UNCHECKED the box to receive them) but I wasn't mad about getting this shade. I'm really into earth tones and deeper shades lately. I'm hoping this isn't just a phase and I can start streamlining my closet!
This is a nice burgundy shade that will be perfect for the upcoming fall. I have lipsticks that match perfectly! But darker nail polish shades are harder to apply because they can have various color payoff. For example, parts of my nails are a lighter shade of burgundy than other sections. To get a seamless color, I would have keep applying until I finally get it even. They might be a user error. If I got them professionally done, I'm sure it wouldn't be a problem. But I hardly get manicures since I switch my color up so often.
The brush shape for this polish is interesting. It's more rounded off, which I didn't really care for. This nail polish isn't cheap. It's $15. You get the same amount of polish as you do in an Essie polish but for more money. Essie is only $8.50. But what's cool is they have the same color but as a gel polish for $17.
I'll definitely be wearing this shade again as the seasons change. But I wouldn't repurchase it. It's too expensive.
