August Glam Bag: Sugar Highness
This month's theme was Sugar Highness. It's suppose to represent a sort of decadence. One should be able to indulge in things. I think this was an interesting glam bag and I believe they hit the mark pretty well. Everything in my glam bag this month was pretty expensive on it's own.
I also believe they did a good job of bringing in the pastels from the lookbook and bag to the makeup they provided. It was all very whimsical.
The bag itself was a original design from Ipsy's founder, Michelle Phan. I thought the bags we're beautiful.
My favorite product this month, hands down, was Beauty For Real I-LINE 24/7 Eyeliner in Black Magic. This is my new favorite black eyeliner. The formula is so creamy and smooth. It was a dream to put on and I was shocked at how much I loved using it. This is something I'm going to repurchase again and again.
My least favorite product this month has to be Ciaté London's Paint Pot in Dangerous Affair. I love the color, but I didn't think the formula was all that. The brush was oddly rounded, and it's $15. I could pay to get a manicure with that kind of money. I just think there are better products at a cheaper price point out there.
The one thing I wish I had gotten was the Gimme Brow Volumizing Eyebrow Gel from Benefit Cosmetics or even Tarte Cosmetics Tarteist Lash Paint Mascara. There's always next month.
What did you think of this month's glam bag? What was your favorite product? Least favorite? Let me know!
