Algenist Eye Renewal Balm
This is the one brand in my Sephora Play! Box that I feel like I have heard of before, but don't know any of their products well. But who turns down a chance to test out an eye cream? In all likelihood it will do you more good than harm.
This is an anti0aging eye cream that also reduces dark circles and puffiness. Alguronic Acid is the key ingredient that reduces the appearance of wrinkles. Alguronic Acid is a chemical compound that occurs in microalgae. It helps to regenerate and protect the skin. But it also contains vitamin C, caffeine, cucumber, aloe, and green tea extracts.
It's made without parabens, sulfates, and phthalates. It's also been tested by ophthalmologist and dermatologists, which is great for girls like me who wear contacts all the time! It's recommended for all skin types and isn't suppose to clog your pores.
This is a very thick eye cream, so you only want to take a little bit. You don't need that much! What a lot of people don't know if that you're not just suppose to apply eye cream directly under your eye. You're suppose to apply it to the outer corners and up to the brow bone. Who knew?
This is a very pricey product. At $68 you're getting only 0.5oz. But since you're only suppose to you a little bit twice a day, it should last you for a little while. Does it work? I'm not sure. I haven't been using it long enough to really know if it works. I can tell that my puffiness isn't bad but only time will tell how much this product really works.
