September Sephora Play! Box: The Unbasic Basics
I really love the Sephora Play! Box because if I wanted to, I could combine all the products together into one makeup look. This month's box was no different.
My favorite product this month is from the Sephora Collection. This lipstick is so cute and easy to take with you literally anywhere. This color is so universal that every skin tone can wear it to any occasion.
My least favorite product this month has to belong to Living Proof. This is the second time that I've tried one of their products and I have to say that I'm disappointed. I really thought I would love them, I really wanted to love them. I trusted Jennifer Aniston, but their products leave my hair greasy and not as clean as I would have hoped.
Honorable mention goes to Dr. Jart+! If you've been reading my blog, you know the struggle for finding a good moisturizer has been real. This one has come pretty close! Although, I would recommend this for those of you with dry skin, otherwise the product doesn't absorb as well.
The Kat Von D eyeliner is something I'm going to continue using. But I do this that the hype around this product was big enough that I kind of feel let down. The brush wasn't what I was expecting but I understand the reasoning behind it. I just don't think that I'm used to it yet and that will come with time and practice.
Brow gel isn't something that I really see myself using all the time, although I do enjoy having the opportunity to try it. This isn't something that I see myself reaching for day in and day out.
The Tory Burch scent is not what I think of when I think of fall. I like deeper, muskier, more masculine scents. This is more of a spring and summer scent. So, for now I'll go into a drawer of mine until those seasons come around again.
