Madam C.J. Walker Scent & Shine Coconut Oil
Now, I know this is going to sound silly, but I really had no clue what to do with this product. I had to take to Twitter to ask for help! There are so many ways that you can use coconut oil, especially for your hair! And, I have to admit, I have never used coconut oil before. I'm not a fan of coconut in general so I stayed away from it.
This coconut oil is also scented with vanilla and a woodsy scent, which makes me happy to use it! I much prefer this scent to just straight up coconut.
So, the way I used this product is as a pre-wash mask. I coated my hair from root to ends, tied my hair in pigtail braids, went for a bike ride, then went home and showered, shampooing and conditioning my hair. And my hair was SO soft and SO shiny. My mom even said something!
Now usually, I use Moroccan Oil on my ends when my hair is dry or semi-dry to give more life, add a nice scent, and prolong split ends. When I tried to do that with this product, my hair was just greasy looking.
I love how this sample product comes with a dropper so I can place the oil directly to my hair and just rub it all in. But the full sized product is just a regular pump.
You can get the full-sized product for $26. I know that's expensive when you consider that you can just get a jar of it for under $5. But for me, it's worth it because of the scent. I really despise coconut, you guys. The sample size is $14, which is great if you want to test it out. Plus, I'm a sucker for anything with a dropper.
