OPI's Big Apple Red

Later this week I'll be attending a formal event. I wanted to paint my nails now so I won't have to worry about them later on since I'm traveling and have other things to do. The problem was that I was planning on wearing a black dress and that gives such a blank canvas to work with. I still have no idea how I want to do my makeup, but I do know how I want to do my hair.

I came down to this classic OPI shade. I figured no matter what I do makeup wise, red goes nicely with anything. On top of that, it's on the theme, Winter Wonderland. Plus, there is something that is just so sexy about red nails.

I'm showing the mini bottle that I got years ago because I can take it with me when I travel.

You can wear this shade any time of the year, but I think it's great for winter since it adds a nice pop. Plus, it's great if you celebrate Christmas.
