Wednesday Wisdom!
This statement couldn't be any truer. There are so many ways one can interpret this sentence. Time is a luxury because you only have a certain amount of it. Once it's spent, you can't get it back. It's luxurious is you have a lot of it. It's also luxurious if you have a little of it. There is always someone out there you has more time on their hands than you do. Silence is a luxury because some people can't afford to be silent, especially during times of turmoil like our country is going through now. I'm sure Mr. Ford meant this sentence as more of an "I'm too busy to do anything but work" kinda thing, but it sure is interesting when it's out of context.
