Smashbox Cosmetics Insta-Matte Lipstick Transformer

I was a little skeptical about this product. I've heard about it but I wasn't sure if it would actually work. But it does! It's actually pretty neat.

It feels and looks like a primer for your face. But after applying a creamy lipstick (don't use this over a balm, gloss, or lacquer), I just tapped this product onto my lips and it did was it said it would: it was instantly matte. This is great if you have a favorite creamy lipstick and always wanted a matte version of it. This is the lipstick I wore by the way.

That being said, I'm still a little weary with this. I felt as if it was moving my lipstick around. I think this could also mess around with wear time. I definitely want to try this out with a bunch of different lipstick brands to see how this works with other formulas.

At $24, I don't think that's a bad price for .34oz/10mL of a product. Especially, when that product gives you so many different looks. I would repurchase this!
