The Look of Love by Sarah Jio
I really liked this book. I thought it was a great blend of a supernatural/romance book. It was different and I loved that. There has been some harm criticisms online about this book. Many people don't believe it's not that great, but really enjoy her other books. I haven't read any of Jio's other books so I can't attest how this book measures up to her other ones.
I really liked the different perspectives in the book from the other characters. It just goes to show that there are many different forms of love other than romantic love. That love of all kinds require sacrifice at times.
The only thing that I didn't like was the epilogue. I could have done without it. I feel if it was more developed it would have been better. I felt like it was rushed and in that case, it's always better to just leave it out.
You can get this book for only $4.48. It's on sale on Barnes & Noble's website! I recommend picking this up. It's one of the books I was really excited to read recently.

"Love, she thinks, is not meant for her."
"There was a cadence, a rhythm to their life together that ebbed and flowed naturally, like the relationship between the moon and the tide - pulling, giving, balancing each other out. And so when Adele passed, Mel lost his moon. He lost his rhythm. Everything seemed out of step - sleep, meals, the hours of the day. He was like a tide that no longer knew when to come in or go out."
"'I want to play, and laugh, and fight. And have great make-up sex. I want to dream and grow and travel, but always come back to the same walls, the same person. I want to hear my children's laughter. I want to play catch on a freshly mowed lawn, with the smell of dinner on the barbecue in the backyard. I want to go to bed happy and wake up happier.' He smiles. 'And I'd like to have all that with you.'"
"Love is waiting for her, in all its forms, ready to be discovered, reveled in, felt, and seen from every angle: the raw and the beautiful, the joyful and the sad, the temporary and the eternal, and every shade in between."
