Grande Lips Lip Plumper in Clear
Lip plumpers scare me because some of them out there actually, really hurt. This, ladies and gentlemen, does not. It does have a low burning sensation for a few moments, but it isn't bad.
Think of this product as more of a lip treatment than as a lip product, as you are supposed to wear this twice a day: Once at night before you go to bed, and once during the day. With continued use, you get more hydrated, firm, soft lips with more volume of course!
How you ask? With their special ingredients! Volulip is "a patented elixir that soothes irritation and creates a plumped look." Hyaluronic acid, something we see a lot of in products, helps with firmness. Niacin is actually just vitamin B3, which deals with smoothing.
This is also a non-sticky formula which is super important to me. And for those of you who value animals, this product is also cruelty-free!
This does have a light vanilla scent to it, but I like it. It's not overpowering at all. And it lasts! I have had it on all day and have eaten several times and I still feel it on my lips.
If you're not into clear glosses, they have 12 other shades, all with color to them. I can't tell you if they are opaque or not because I haven't tried any of the colored ones out.
Did I forget to mention, this product has already been in my makeup bag before I received it! You can get the full-sized version for $27. Pricey for a lip gloss? Yes. But when you think of it as a lip treatment, it seems like a good investment.
