Hands Free Life: 9 Habits for Overcoming Distraction, Living Better, & Loving More by Rachel May
When it comes to self-help books, I feel like you either love them, or you hate them. For me, personally, it depends on the book. Either it's something I want to read immediately again and read it over and over again or I'm super critical of it. Unfortunately, this self-help book falls into the latter.
Maybe it's because I'm not a parent and maybe it's because I'm not super religious, but this book just wasn't my favorite. It was nice. Sweet. But it also made me uncomfortable. It felt too much to me. It felt like it was trying too hard. But there was still advice and moments in the book that I really enjoyed.
If you are a parent or if you are religious, (or both!) I think you would like this book a lot more than I did. If you are interested in checking this book out, you can purchase it for $10.60. Honestly, I think this could make a great holiday present for a new mom.
