Anne of Windy Poplars by L.M. Montgomery


This was such a different book from all the other Anne books. This story is told mostly through excerpts from Anne's letters to Gilbert. It was really interesting to see the retelling of stories that happened to Anne in Windy Poplars.

I wish that we got to see the responses that Gilbert wrote back to Anne. It would have been interesting and would have added another layer to the book. It would have been nice to see an outsider's perspective of the happenings of Windy Poplars.

You can get this book for $5.99 but you might not like it as much as the other books from the series since the format is different.
