Anastasia Beverly Hills Lip Gloss in Vintage


I have a confession to make: I have never worn an Anastasia Beverly Hills lip product below. I don't know why but I feel embarrassed to say that. I know that Anastasia has cult products and maybe lip products aren't one of them but they are pretty well known.

I was shocked at how pigmented this lip gloss is. This "vintage rose" shade goes on so opaque it's like a liquid lipstick. I was really disappointed because, in the tube, you can see there are pink flecks of glitter in the lip gloss and you don't really see them when you apply it. I know some people will be relieved at that. You can see the glitter once you add some flash to it but who is going to walk around like that?

It's a thick gloss and you can feel it on your lips. It seems long lasting for a lip gloss, but I didn't really eat much with it on. Shine is definitely there but it's not glass-like by any means.

I'm interested in checking out some of there shimmer finished lip glosses. If you're not into high shine or shimmer, they also have metallic lip glosses which sound perfect for NYE. You can pick one up at Sephora for $16.
