Laura Mercier Eye Basics in Wheat
I was a little annoyed when I saw this in my Play! Box only because I had just purchased a new Urban Decay Primer Potion. I was intrigued to try this product out because I have only ever used the Urban Decay one.
Right off the bat, I knew this shade is not the one I would have picked out for myself. It was very warm toned and almost orangey. It almost looks like a warm crease shade. So much so that I don't even need to use one in my makeup look. I do think that this product blends very easily and is very pigmented. A little goes a long way with this product.
If I were to buy this product again, I would probably pick up Flax, a pearlized beige, or maybe Buff, which is a medium pink beige. Wheat, the shade I received, is described as a light medium beige but it's too dark on my skin tone.
This product is expensive at $28. I would rather spend $12 on a mini Urban Decay Primer Potion which lasts me forever but I do believe the Laura Mercier is better because it doesn't crease and dries down fully which I really appreciate.
