Tom Ford Black Orchid


This is such an interesting scent. I have never met a scent that is even remotely similar to this. It's definitely musky and masculine but does have a light air to it. It's totally weird and unique but I really like it.

Despite my views on this perfume is classified as a floral fragrance. The top notes are black truffle, ylang ylang, bergamot, and black currant with a middle note of lotus wood. The base notes are where the musky scent comes from thanks to patchouli, incense, sandalwood, and vetiver. I think that it goes without saying that orchids are also in this scent.

This is an expensive fragrance with the touch point (a roller ball?) for $45. That's .2oz for $45! 1oz for $84, 1.7oz for $122, or you can get 3.4oz $171. Super expensive, super sexy. I think this is the perfect scent for the winter if you can splurge on it!
