Neutrogena Light Therapy Acne Mask
I was so excited when my mom came home with this as a surprise for me! I've looked at this in the store for a while now but I could just take the leap to try it out. My mom found it on Clearance at Stop & Shop for under $10! Amazing, considering the retail price is $35!
You're supposed to use this mask every day for 10 minutes. The activator, which you have to replace every 30 days, shuts off the mask after time has passed. The activator itself is $15, which is a lot when you consider you have you replace it every month. When you buy the mask the activator is included, but after that, you're on your own.
It does say that you are able to multitask while wearing this mask, but I find that hard to do since the screen to protect your eyes is small and orange so it makes everything you look at green. I usually just watch a YouTube video or two or scroll through Instagram. The green effect does continue for a minute or two after you take off the mask.
This mask is UV free and chemical free so it is safe to use every day. It's ideal for people with little to mild acne. This isn't made for someone who has it severely. Red and blue light, which is what is used for this mask, has been clinically proven to target acne-causing bacteria and reduce breakouts.
