Update: Neutrogena Light Therapy Mask
It's been thirty days since I started using Neutrogena Light Therapy Mask. I have finished the activator and I actually received a new one for Valentine's Day so I will continue to use it.
If you need to know the basics and my initial thoughts on the mask, you can read so here.
I do really enjoy using my mask. I do believe it has helped prevent breakouts and even helped clear away existing breakouts. I can get really bad hormonal breakouts and this really managed it. I didn't get as many breakouts and if I did they were bad and/or really painful.
I totally love this mask and give it credit for making my skin better, but I also think it was my skincare routine. Using this mask really made me stick to my skincare routine. Every time I used the mask (which was every day) I followed it up with the rest of my skincare routine. It held me accountable.
The only thing I really dislike about this mask is how wasteful it is. I get Neutrogena needing/wanting to make money which is why you have to buy a new activator every month, but the packaging of the activator is bulking and a waste to the environment. It really bothers me about how wasteful it is. I wish they would make the packaging slimmer or recyclable.
Have you picked this up and tried it? Are you going to? Let me know your thoughts below!
