Nars Velvet Matte Lip Pencil in Let's Go Crazy

This is not a shade I would have picked out for myself, but that's what's so great about subscription services, that I get to step out of my comfort zone!

Let's go crazy is a vivid pink shade. I can see this looking beautiful on so many skin tones. The great thing about a pencil is that it makes it so easy to decide how much coverage you want. This is going to look pretty sheered out for daytime and punchy if you layer it up for a night out!

This lipstick lasted all day and even after I was eating! I didn't wear another lipstick on top of it, I just used the whole thing to fill in my lips. I think this would look really cool with a punchy red or coral shade on top if you're feeling adventurous! I'll hold on to this and bring it out again when the weather gets warmer.

This pencil is pretty expensive at $27 a pop. A lot of people seem to be upset because you have to sharpen this pencil rather than having it twist up. Honestly, that doesn't bother me too much but it's something to consider if you're planning on buying this.
