Benefit Cosmetics BADGal Bang Mascara in Pitch Black
I've heard so many things about this mascara. The launch of it was huge! Benefit is known for their Roller Lash mascara, which I have yet to try! This mascara was interesting, to say the least.
When I first pulled the wand out of the tube, I was immediately disappointed. It's a rubber wand and I'm not a fan of rubber wands. I prefer actual bristles. The shape of the wand was nice and tapered so it was able to get those tricky outer and inner corner lashes! This also makes applying mascara to your bottom lashes a breeze.
Depending on how you look at it, taking this mascara off is difficult. On the bright side, that means it'll last in the rain or if you're crying thinking about all the puppies that aren't adopted. But it's not such a good thing when you want it to come off. I'm really afraid this is can make my lashes come off if I try too hard to get it off.
This is super lightweight and really good for lengthening if that's what you're looking for in a mascara. There is nothing that irritates me more than wearing contacts and my eyes being heavy because of my mascara. It makes me itchy. I don't have this problem with this formula. Personally, I like more volumizing mascaras, but I was okay with how this made my mascara look.
You can get the full-size for $24 or you can get the mini for $12. I would like to point out that Benefit does make a mascara called BADgal Lash and I'm wondering if this is a similar product that or a part of a mini collection or what. Maybe they are phasing that one out or maybe this is a reformulated version. Who knows! Just something to think about.
