Bliss by Shay Mitchell & Michaela Blaney
I really enjoyed reading this book. I was worried I wouldn't like it or that it would be too PG because of Shay Mitchell being a big actress. But that was not the case.
This book goes into the good, the bad, the sexy, and everything in between. It was unexpected and I loved it. I'm so glad that they wrote about women who have flaws and problems and aren't goody-two-shoes.
I've never seen anything Shay Mitchell has been in (Yes, I've never seen Pretty Little Liars, I'll get to it eventually).
I love that it was told from the multiple perspectives of the characters. I think they missed the opportunity to expand in some situations in the end. Problems that came up were just solved in a paragraph, like the secret that Demi and Leandra kept from Sophia or the issue Demi had with her boss. I think they could have expanded this into a mini-series if they wanted to. But I do this it was good with just the one book.
You can get this book for $11.99. I think this is such a fun beach read for the summer. It's a light read that keeps you interested in what happens next. All the characters are vastly different and make for a compelling read.
