trèStiQue Mini Matte Blur Stick

This was an interesting product. I've never used a blur stick before and I was curious to see if this product would actually work.

I didn't really understand how to apply this product. I didn't know if you're just supposed to apply it all over your face straight from the stick or if I'm supposed to apply it with the stick and then blend it out with my fingers or a brush.

I thought as a primer it was okay. I did see that it blurred my pores a bit but it didn't do much for my shine. It says that you can even use this over makeup to help control your shine without moving your makeup but I didn't find that to be true. It didn't help mattify my skin over my makeup and it did move my makeup around. It even removed some of it.

I love trèStiQue and a bunch of their products, but I won't be repurchasing this again. If you have any tips on how to use this product to make it work, let me know! I would love to keep using this if I can figure out how to make it work.

The full product is double sided and contains blotting paper on the other side. I would have loved to get my hands on those blotting papers today. If you are interested in checking this product out, you can get it for $28.
