Cover FX Power Play Foundation in N40
This foundation claims to be full-coverage but I don't feel like it is. I would say that it's medium coverage since I still had some blemishes peeking through after two layers but I think you could build it up more if you wanted to.
This foundation does have a matte finish to it, which is great for the summer or for any of you with oily skin. I don't think that's it's super matte that any of you with dry skin wouldn't be able to wear it if you moisturized thoroughly.
I wouldn't say that this foundation blurred my imperfections but it did make my skin look healthy and I enjoyed the shade they picked for me! They have a wide range of shades and they make it so simple to figure out your shade which I am so grateful for. N40 is described for "medium skin with neutral undertones." This is a great shade for me for summer. I did not find that this foundation oxidized! Always a win in my book.
I went the majority of my day outside and I didn't find that sweat to be a problem which is great and it started to wear down about 8 hours later which is totally normal for a foundation. I love that this foundation is also supposed to protect your skin from environmental factors.
This foundation costs $44 but I would check it out because I was overall happy with how my skin looked and how my makeup when on top of it. This was my first time using any type of foundation from Cover FX and I'm intrigued to check out their other face products!
