Ella Eden Pressed Eyeshadow in Harmony
I wasn't sure how I was going to feel about this eyeshadow. I'm a big fan of matte orange shade in the crease as my transition shade, but I don't normally put them on my lid, especially a shimmer shade.
It was really interesting because as soon as I put this on my lid, I realized that it had a frosty flip to it. A cool-toned orange?! I was kind of digging it, kind of didn't know what to make of it. I did get compliments from my coworkers at work. It's definitely something different that I wouldn't have picked out myself.
The formula is super buttery too. It almost feels like a cream eyeshadow. Harmony is described as a rosy peach shade but I think it's more orange than peach or rose. If you're not a fan of this shade, there are quite a few other shades you can choose from.
I found that I was able to apply this with a flat brush, dry, or with my fingers.
These eyeshadows are kind of in the middle when it comes to pricing. One will cost $14. I'm going to keep playing around with this shade to see what color combinations I can pair with it since it's warm but also cool toned!
