NYX Butter Gloss in Fortune Cookie

I just bought this lip gloss on National Lipstick Day because I was already in ULTA to pick up something for my mom and I have heard rave reviews about this lipgloss. I'm pretty sure it's Katy AKA lustrelux who raves about this gloss. NYX is super affordable so I figured what's the worst thing that can happen?

I really like this lip gloss because it's pigmented enough that you can see what color it is but not too much that you get those super annoying streaks in your lip color (I'm looking at you Colourpop). This is perfect for any nude lip you have and just want to make it glossy. This shade is almost too light for my skin tone, so if you're deeper than me I would just be careful. I would check out Praline if you're deeper than me. If you're fairer, check out Crème Brulee It's a great pick to lighten up a lip color or to create an ombre effect. If you use it as an ombre effect, your lips will look bigger if you're into that.

This is currently in my constant rotation for when I'm looking for a nude lip. I'm been super into glossy lips lately, which is unfortunate because I also really enjoy driving with the windows down and those two things do not mix.
