Essie's Dress To Kilt

We interrupt this regularly scheduled program to bring you a nail polish I wore to a wedding this past weekend.

This shade, from their Scotland collection a few years back, matched my dress perfectly. It's not an easy color to find either! This is the perfect shade of dark red before it goes into that maroon territory. Don't get me wrong, I love a good maroon nail polish, but it would have been all wrong for this dress.

I know red nail polish in the workplace is controversial but I think with a shade this dark, it's okay. I think it's even more okay if you're wearing it in the fall. Personally, I want to wear this with a cozy sweater and in the middle of a pumpkin patch. This shade is going to look amazing on any skin tone as well. It gives the same boss attitude that red nail polish gives you with an added edge.

This shade is hard to find since it was from an old collection. You can get it on Overstock for $6.19 which is a discount from their usual price. For something similar, I would check out Essie's Berry Naughty.
