Touch In Sol Metallist Liquid Foil Lipstick Duo in Penny
I've heard of this brand before but I'm not too familiar with it. This is an intriguing product because it's a metallic lipstick and a gloss in one. I've dabbled in metallic lipstick before but they aren't my favorite thing.
I was really excited about the choice because I thought it would be a really pretty copper shade for fall since it's called Penny but that's not the case. This lipstick is more of a pinky brown shade. It's still pretty, but it wasn't what I was expecting. They do have six other shades to choose from, including a gold and bronze option that looks so pretty!
This formula is incredible. The metallic is super foiled and dries down so fast without getting crumbly on the lips. I was really impressed with the color payoff of the gloss too! There is nothing more annoying than having a color gloss and it not being pigmented, leaving your lips looking streaky. I'm happy to report that is not the case with this product!
I think I would wear this metallic shade again. I think it's a pretty wearable color considering that it's a metallic. I think it would look so beautiful with just a touch of gold highlight in the center of the lips.
If you're into this, you can pick it up at Sephora for $25 which isn't a bad price when you consider you're getting two lip products that you can wear alone or put them together!
