Pixi by Petra Mesmerizing Mineral Duo in Plum Lace
I have to be honest, I wasn't all that impressed with this eyeshadow duo. I think the shades themselves are really pretty and are super pigmented. As the only thing I have ever tried from this brand, I was impressed on that front. I just didn't think this was a very cohesive look since they are both shimmers. That's why I decided to do two looks using this eyeshadow duo.
I really love this dark purple shade because it gives me the perfect smokey eye with just a hint of color. I know in the swatches it doesn't look like there is shimmer and it's true that you can blend the shimmer away in this shade, but I didn't like the how it looked with the pink shimmer shade.
Online, they refer to the lighter shade as a peach color but it is doesn't even resemble peach in my opinion. What do you think?
This duo is actually a part of a larger eyeshadow palette that includes four other shades. This palette is really pretty and called Plum Quartz. They also have eight other mini palettes you can choose from. I'm really into the Sunset Mattes palette. I think it would be good to have paired with any of the other palettes they offer. The best part? They are $12 a pop!
