Clinique Almost Lipstick in Black Honey

I think the idea of calling this an Almost Lipstick is so cute. It really is a sheer lip color and it has a glossy finish.

Black Honey is supposedly Clinique's bestselling shade. They came up with this shade in 1971 and it's said that today, someone in the United States buys a Black Honey lipstick every three minutes. That's a cult classic if I've ever heard of one.

Black Honey is a really pretty deepened raisin shade that would look good on any skin tone.

Personally, I don't think I'm a fan of this. I still want to give it more chances before condemning it. I think it's just kind of patchy in the way that color is distributed. I'm also not a big fan of the shade even though I really wanted to. I just feel like on me it looks like I have chapped lips or I've been outside in the cold for too long. But it's all about personal preference. I love actual lipstick with loads of pigment. Some like a more natural coverage. If you're the latter, this is totally perfect for you.
